39 pages of ink and watercolor. Over 2 years of sketching, drawing and painting, my book is finally finished! I was so excited last night that I did 3 victory laps around the house, yelling out "woo hoo, I did it!"

It's a straight up picture book about a blue mailbox's day, from the moment he gets up and gets ready for work to the moment he is in bed reading himself to sleep. I based the neighborhood on my old neighborhood in East Atlanta Village, Atlanta.

I have decided to dedicate this book to my niece, Piper. She works so hard everyday, without complaint and it reminds me of Mr. Mailbox Man getting up and doing his job, no matter what (rain or shine). I love you Pippy!
